DPRK Will Continue to Bolster up Its Nuclear Deterrence: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- The DPRK will remain unchanged in its option of bolstering up its deterrence for self-defense, whatever vituperation enemies may let loose and whatever threat and pressure they may impose, says Rodong Sinmun in an article Monday.

It goes on:

The south Korean puppet regime is hurling abuses at the DPRK, demanding it dismantle its nukes, an act of reminding one of the thief crying "Stop the thief!"

The nuclear issue of the Korean peninsula spawned due to the moves of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime to ignite a nuclear war.

This notwithstanding, the puppet regime is persistently urging the DPRK to dismantle its nukes. This is a double-dealing attitude of tolerating foreign forces' nukes while not tolerating compatriots' nukes, and a disgraceful behavior of those steeped in extreme hostility and repugnancy toward the compatriots in the north.

Such vituperation is nothing but sophism to hide its bellicose nature and justify the moves to unleash a war against the north.

The puppet regime has gone so foolish as to dream of leading the north to "change" and seek to make it dismantle its nukes.

If the nuclear issue of the peninsula is to see a fundamental settlement, the U.S. and the puppet regime must stop resorting to their nuclear blackmail and threat to the DPRK and their moves to ignite a war against it.

As long as the nuclear blackmail policy of aggression remains unchanged and the war rackets to invade the DPRK continue, the DPRK will further bolster up its nuclear deterrence.
