Rainy Season Likely to Begin in DPRK
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- The seasonal rainy front is now staying above the area in latitude 30 degrees north.

The rainy front slightly moved above the coastal area of South Sea of Korea from June 17 to 21, causing the first rainfall in Jeju Island, South Jolla and South Kyongsang provinces.

Weather experts forecast that the front will weaken for a while, staying in the present position, and then gain force in early July, gradually moving northward.

The rainy season in the DPRK is expected to begin between July 5 and 15 this year.

Rainy season begins mostly on July 4 in the country.
