Korean in U.S. Brands U.S. as Unequal Society
Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- Korean scholar Sonu Hakwon in the U.S. released a commentary on June 18 in denunciation of the U.S. where the rich get ever richer and the poor get ever poorer.

The commentary said that the U.S. is the country with the most widening gap between the rich and the poor in the world and its society is an unequal one.

Health care and insurance in the U.S. is the worst in the world and its people have to pay the highest medical expenses while the average life expectancy and children mortality are also all-time high, it said, and went on:

The ruling quarters reduced taxes of the rich while cutting down aid to the unemployed and the extremely poor people.

Consequently, the properties of the rich are steadily swelling while the ordinary people are driven into ever appalling poverty.

The commentary deplored that there is no democracy in the unequal American society.

The U.S. is now repudiated and censured by the international community due to its wrong foreign policy and the public at home is growing increasingly discontent with the serious social inequality, it stressed.
