Domingos Coelho Da Cruz, chairman of the League of Angola for Friendship and Solidarity among Peoples, and its vice-chairman were elected honorary chairman and chairman of the committee respectively.

It decided to arrange political and cultural events such as round-table talks and film show praising the feats of the President to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his demise.
