I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Comrade Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the important event in the WPK and the life of the DPRK people.

Over the past decades the Korean people have registered great achievements in socialist construction by improving the standard of people's living and bolstering up the country's defence capabilities under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Il.

Comrade Kim Jong Il performed great feats in further developing the Juche idea and the Songun idea, the theoretical basis of Korean-style socialist construction.
