The interim president said that the DPRK government is always standing by the Arab people against Israel and maintaining the steadfast stand toward the Palestinian issue.

The proposal for reunification by federal formula advanced by President Kim Il Sung is the fundamental way of settling the issue of national reunification, he said, expressing full support and solidarity for the DPRK government's stand to reunify the country independently and peacefully without interference of foreign forces with the concerted efforts of the Korean nation.

He expressed the expectation that the two countries, member states of the Non-Aligned Movement, would further intensify mutual support and cooperation in the international arena.

Meanwhile, the DPRK government delegation met the president of the National Assembly and the acting minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigrants respectively on the same day.
