The Pyongyang City Taekwon-do team came first in the total points.

Present at the closing ceremony were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, Taekwon-do players and coaches, school youth and children.

Units and players who proved successful at the championship were awarded trophy cups, diplomas and medals.

Kim Kyong Ho, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-do Committee, made a closing address.
