At the rally speakers said the policy of aggravating poverty, suppressing workers and obliterating agriculture reflects the horrible theory of placing money before man and this is the cause of the ferry Sewol disaster which took the lives of more than 300 innocent persons, they said.

They declared that they would fight against the Park regime resorting only to pro-plutocrats policy.

They demanded the puppet authorities probe the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster including the investigation into the "president", ensure the right to existence of the evacuees, halt de-nationalization, stop easing regulations, implement the commitment to halve registration fee, probe the truth about interference in the election, punish those responsible, etc.
