Displayed at the venue of the events were photos dealing with the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Present there on invitation were Thongloun Sisoulith, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, chairman of the Committee for External Affairs of the Party and vice-prime minister and foreign minister, and personages of the Committee for External Affairs of the Party, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Construction Front, the People's Supreme Court and the Laos-Korea Friendship Association.

Ri Sang Gun, DPRK ambassador to Laos, and his embassy officials were on hand.

The participants went round the photos before watching a Korean film "Order No. 027."

Speeches were made at the reception.
