DPRK's Woman Gives Birth to 10th Child
Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- Pak Kum Ok (44), living in Sogo-ri, Chonma County, North Phyongan Province, left the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital on June 10 after giving an easy birth to her 10th child on May 26.

Pak was awarded the title of Labor Hero with the 4th National Meeting of Mothers held in November Juche 101 (2012) as an occasion for giving birth to nine children. Speaking at the meeting, she vowed to give birth to more children, regarding it as an important work related with the existence of the nation, the patriotic one entrusted only to women.

Her baby weighed 3.78 kg at birth.

When leaving the hospital with her baby girl, Pak told KCNA:

It is natural for a woman to mother children, but the DPRK government called me to the national meeting of mothers and awarded me the title of Labor Hero for giving birth to many children.

Her husband Kang Chol Ho, a worker in Chonma County, said that the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) has been showing deep loving care to the living of those families with many children and he would reliably bring up his sons and daughters to live up to the loving care shown by the WPK.

Pak has borne Kang six sons and four daughters.

Their eldest son is in the Korean People's Army, while the eldest daughter working as a farmer.
