DPRK Team Wins at 2014 AFC U-14 Girls Regional Championship for East Region

| Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- The DPRK players came first at the 2014 AFC U-14 Girls Soccer Regional Championship for the East Region held in Hebei Province, China from May 30. The championship brought together eight teams from the DPRK, China, Japan and other countries and regions. At the group league match the DPRK team defeated its Chinese, Japanese and other rivals. It defeated the team of Taipei of China 1:0 at the semi-finals and Japanese team 2:1 at the finals. DPRK player Ko Kyong Hui was awarded top scorer's prize at the championship. |
