57th Chinese Tourist Group Visits DPRK
Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- A group of 226 Chinese tourists visited the Democratic People's Republic of Korea from June 2-4.

It is the 57th round of tourism held under an agreement made between the Korean International Juvenile Travel Company and Dandong Branch Company of the China's Guolu International Travel Agency.

During its tour, the group visited Panmunjom and saw the historical relics on display at the Koryo Museum in Kaesong City. It also toured edifices in the capital city of Pyongyang, including the Tower of the Juche Idea and the Arch of Triumph, and enjoyed an art performance given by schoolchildren at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace.

Taking traditional Korean dishes was one of the tourists' main attractions.

Jia Yubu, general manager of the Kanghui International Travel Agency in Dandong of China, told KCNA that the agency would organize more tourist groups to make them get a better understanding of the DPRK.
