S. Korean Organization Starts 10 Million-People Signature Campaign
Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- The Measure Committee of the Families of Victims, Missing Persons and Survivors of the Ferry Sewol Sinking Accident of south Korea started 10 million-people signature campaign on May 29 demanding the thoroughgoing probe into the truth behind the ferry disaster and punishment of those responsible for it, according to south Korean MBC.

The organization urged the authorities to thoroughly probe the truth behind the ferry disaster and call to account those responsible for it.

It called for organizing a fact-finding organ with independent authority with the bereaved families and people involved.

It decided to conduct signature campaigns at incense-burning alters in 16 cities and provinces across south Korea in solidarity with civic and public organizations.

The evermore mounting south Korean people's anti-"government" actions are driving the conservative ruling forces into a tight corner.
