Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) -- Koreans in the U.S. held a rally for honoring the memory of the victims of the ferry Sewol tragedy and staged a demonstration in demand of the resignation of Park Geun Hye in Boston on May 25, according to Minjok Thongsin, internet newspaper of Koreans in the U.S.

Present there were Ri Jun Mu, head of the Uruk Symphony Orchestra, and his wife and other Koreans in the U.S., students and their parents in Boston.

Speakers said that the actions of south Koreans and overseas Koreans are going on to demand the probe into the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster, settlement of the fundamental issue and resignation of the incompetent and irresponsible Park Geun Hye "regime."

If they keep silent any more, the second and third ferry Sewol tragedy may occur, they noted, adding that they should not keep silent any longer to protect children.

At the end of the rally the participants conducted a signature campaign demanding the probe into the truth about the disaster and punishment of those responsible for it, shouting slogans condemning the murderous act of the Park Geun Hye group.
