Anti-"Government" Struggle Waged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) waged an anti-"government" struggle in Seoul on May 24 demanding the probe into the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster.

Participated there were members of the leadership of the KCTU, chairmen of the trade unions under it and union members.

Angered by the authorities' act of evading the responsibility for the disaster, they marched towards Chongwadae, chanting "Park Geun Hye, step down".

When the police stopped the demonstrators, they launched a sit-in strike on the road before Posin Pavilion.

The fascist police took away scores of sit-in strikers but they waged a staunch struggle, denouncing the puppet chief executive for causing the disaster due to her incompetence and irresponsibility and evading the thorough-going probe into the truth.

Prior to it, KCTU and its affiliated organizations held rallies in different parts of south Korea.

At the rally held at Chonggye Plaza Sin Sung Chol, chairman of the KCTU, said it would opt for an all-out action against the regime which caused the Sewol disaster and is keen on realizing the anti-workers policy including suppression of labor, easing of regulations and denationalization.

Spokesman Pak Song Sik said that KCTU would head for Chongwadae to demand the "president" own all responsibilities.
