S. Korean Professors Blame Park Geun Hye for Causing Ferry Sewol Disaster
Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- Resentment at the Park Geun Hye group which caused the ferry Sewol tragedy is running high among professors in south Korea.

More than 100 professors of Chungang University in Seoul, the Jeju Professor Network for Truth and Justice which is a meeting of university professors in Jeju area, over 130 professors of Yonsei University, professors of Taegu University, the Council of Professors of Jonnam University, the Council of Professors of Chongju University, professors of Kangwon University and south Korean university professors and scholars residing overseas made public declarations on the situation, joint statements and statements and held press conferences where they urged the Park Guen Hye regime to hold the heaviest responsibility for the disaster.

The Sewol tragedy was caused by the "government" which has been keen on maintaining and protecting the ruling quarters only and bureaucrats who colluded with big businesses, subservient to the neo-liberal system, they said.

The "government" which fails to protect the people and respect historical assessment can not be called the "government" for the people, they noted, warning such "government" will meet people's resistance and stern punishment.

Asserting that the Park Geun Hye regime's incompetency and irresponsibility caused the tragedy, they urged the authorities to hold full responsibility.

The professors are voicing their will to fight it out until the Park group and the puppet regime indifferent to the security of the people and the conservative media that shunned the truth are judged.
