DPRK Concentrates Efforts on Rice-transplanting
Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- All the people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea have turned out in assisting farming, including rice-transplanting.

Thanks to the energetic efforts of those helpers and peasants, farm fields throughout the country are turning green with each passing day.

U Myong Chol, chairman of the management board of the Ryongsan Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang, told KCNA:

Many officials and workers came to the farm to help peasants in doing farm.

Encouraged by their assistance, we, peasants, will do our best in the ongoing rice-transplantation campaign with the responsibility for the country's granary.

Such practices could be seen in a farm near the biggest hotspot on the West Sea of Korea. A large number of servicepersons were transplanting rice on paddy fields there.

Jang Chol Hyon, an officer of the Korean People's Army, said:

We, servicepersons, are helping the farmers while keeping our full readiness to destroy any provocation of the south Korean military at once.

Choe Kum Gyong, an official of the Sosong District, Pyongyang City, People's Committee, said on a farm field in Kangnam County:

Many workers and officials of the district came to this farm to finish the rice-transplanting in time, aware that agriculture is an outpost in the struggle for defending socialism.

No force can break the DPRK people's will to build a socialist thriving nation.
