Worst Right to Work in S. Korea Deplored
Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- The south Korean newspaper Hangyore on May 22 carried an editorial titled "Dishonor of the worst right to work in the world".

The editorial recalled that an international labor organization listed the level of the right to work in south Korea as the worst one in the world on May 19, adding it is shameful, indeed.

The workers in south Korea are not guaranteed three rights to work and the "government's" and businesses' unfair and unreasonable infringement upon the right to work are rampant in the society, it said.

A specific example of it is that the registration of the Government Employees Union is denied, a decision was made to label the Teachers Union an illegal union and unionists who participated in strikes are suppressed, it added.

The editorial demanded the "government" discard its wrong understanding of the right to work.
