Ouster of KBS President Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- The KBS Media Persons' Association and members of the trade union of KBS of south Korea are staging stronger actions in demand of the resignation of the KBS president, according to KBS on May 21.

When the association and the trade union demanded the KBS president resign as regards false report about the ferry Sewol disaster, he blustered that he would never resign in face of politically-motivated agitation and violence but strongly react to any illegal attempt plunging KBS into a pitfall through political agitation.

Angered by his such reckless remarks, the trade union opted for a voting for launching an all-out strike.

Meanwhile, members of the trade union went to the Ansan joint incense-burning altar to honor the memory of the victims and pledged to oust the KBS president without fail so that such a disaster might not recur.

The KBS Media Persons' Association started a one-man demo in Kwanghwamun, Seoul and more than 20 correspondents of KBS released a statement.
