Park's "talk to the people" neither mentions the demands of the bereaved families of the victims and families of those missing nor contains measures regarding those who are still missing, the commentary said, and went on:

She did not even mention the problems the maritime police and the Ministry of Security and Administration had in dealing with the disaster, what was their cause and the irresponsible attitude of Chongwadae for which she is directly responsible, in particular.

The irresponsible attitude and thoughtless remarks of Chongwadae and its group shocked the common people including the families of the victims, the commentary said, denouncing Park for evading responsibility and not reflecting on the country-selling ruling method.

It called for forming a committee for probing the truth made up of experts independent of "the government" and "the National Assembly" and thus clarifying the cause of the disaster and the "government's" response to the disaster and opening all this to public.
