Demo Staged against Authorities' Crackdown in Seoul
Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- Young people in their twenties held a demo in Seoul on May 19 in protest against the puppet authorities' crackdown, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Voice of People.

Prior to the demo, speakers denounced the puppet authorities for violently walking away the civilians who staged a street march to honor the memory of the victims of the ferry Sewol sinking disaster and threatening to take legal actions against them.

They held that the authorities' such crackdown is little short of pressurizing the civilians calling for probing the truth behind the sinking disaster and punishing those responsible for it to "stay calm".

They declared they turned out in the demo as they could not repress their anger at Park Geun Hye who made public a "talk to the people" while keeping more than 200 civilians in custody.

As the youngsters launched their demo, the puppet policemen pounced upon them to block it.

Saying that they were infuriated by the authorities' crackdown, they declared they would not stay calm in order to probe the truth behind the ferry Sewol sinking disaster.
