S. Korean Organization Demands Resignation of Park Geun Hye
Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- A joint council made up of civic and social organizations of south Korea for the probe into the truth about the ferry Sewol tragedy and punishment of those responsible released a statement on May 19 demanding the resignation of the puppet chief executive, according to Jaju Minbo, south Korean internet newspaper.

It is the demand of the people that Park Geun Hye should step down, taking the responsibility for the failure to save more than 300 passengers, the statement said.

Querying whether the disbandment of the maritime police and downplaying of the role of the Ministry of Security and Administration proposed by Park can settle everything, the statement said it is not possible to calm down the souls of the dead and prevent the recurrence of the similar disaster unless the murderers are punished.

Park eased all kinds of regulations related to the lives and security of the people and de-nationalized public fields, bringing profits to big businesses.

It is hypocrisy on the part of the "government" that it feels responsible for the tragedy as it walked away those citizens who honored the memory of the victims and urged the authorities to take responsibility.

Park should step down for the genuine settlement of the Sewol tragedy, it held.
