WPK Central Committee Hosts Banquet for Mongolian Delegation
Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) hosted a banquet for the delegation of the Mongolian People's Party on a visit to the DPRK at Pyongyang Koryo Hotel on Tuesday.

Present there on invitation were the members of the delegation of the Mongolian People's Party led by Secretary General Munkhbat Jamiyan, Ambassador Manibadrakh Ganbold and staff members of the Mongolian embassy here.

The banquet was attended by Kang Sok Ju, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and officials of the Central Committee of the WPK.

Kang Sok Ju said in his speech at the banquet that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and countries provided by President Kim Il Sung together with the preceding leaders of Mongolia were successfully carried forward by leader Kim Jong Il and are now favorably developing as the days go by under the deep care of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

He expressed deep thanks to the Mongolian People's Party for having invariably supported and encouraged the struggle of the WPK and the Korean people for building a thriving socialist nation and achieving the independent reunification of the country.

Munkhbat Jamiyan said in his speech that the agreement signed between the WPK and the Mongolian People's Party recorded a new page in the history of friendly relations between the two parties, hoping the cooperation would grow stronger in the future, too.

The Mongolian People's Party will contribute to ensuring peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and other parts of Northeast Asia, he added.
