S. Korean Students Wage Actions for Probing Truth behind Ferry Sewol Sinking Disaster
Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- South Korean students are waging actions every day urging the authorities to probe the truth behind the ferry Sewol sinking disaster.

Students in Seoul held a memorial service at Chonggye Plaza on Saturday at which they denounced the puppet authorities for not rescuing all those missing though a month has passed since the disaster occurred.

At the memorial service speakers condemned the authorities for not conducting positive rescue operation though dozens of persons were still buried in the seabed.

They denounced the "government" for putting aside the demand of the families of those missing as regard the sinking accident, deceiving the people and making false reports. They went on:

If measures were taken in time, all persons would have been rescued. Park Geun Hye is to blame for the death of hundreds of persons. Park should step down, not making an apology.

Students of Ulsan University and other universities on May 16 made a silent march, holding papers bearing the word "Stay put" as a token of their protest against the puppet authorities.

The students said that they rose up in the action so that they may not feel ashamed before the victims of the ferry disaster.
