17th Pyongyang Spring Int'l Trade Fair
Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- The 17th Pyongyang Spring International Trade Fair (May 12-15) goes on at the Three-Revolution Exhibition House here.

Taking part in the fair are more than 300 trading companies from different countries and regions, which presented products with high competitiveness in electronic, machinery, metal, building-material, transport, light, food and consumer goods industries.

The ongoing fair is held at two halls of the exhibition house--the New Technology Innovation Hall and the Heavy Industry Hall--unlike the past fairs for its growing scale. Hundreds of pavilions were installed on the ground and first floors of the New Technology Innovation Hall and vehicles of various kinds displayed at its outdoor stands. Exhibited at the Heavy Industry Hall were garments, textile goods, medicines, etc.

The fair is more diverse in style of display than the past, and it witnesses more active consultation among companies for economic and technological exchanges and businesses.

In the fair, businesspersons from Asia and Europe have expressed their willingness to strengthen the economic trade in various fields with the DPRK, appreciating its economic successes.

Dr. Bernhard Loy, international sales manager of Germany's Denk Pharma, told KCNA: "Our intention is to provide our quality medicine to the Korean people and this is why we are looking for reliable partner who is willing to buy our products at a reasonable price."
