DPRK's Important Days to Be Observed in Ocean Region

| Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- The Ocean regional remembrance committee was inaugurated on the occasions of the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung and the 3rd anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. Peter Woods, co-chairman of the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Supporting Peaceful Reunification of Korea, was elected advisor of the remembrance committee and Don Borrie, chairman of the New Zealand-DPRK Society, chairman of the committee. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events praising the exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on the occasions of the anniversaries of their demise (July 8 and December 17). |
