Pyongyang Tourism College Established in DPRK
Pyongyang, May 5 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Tourism College has been newly established in the DPRK.

The college, which started its service on April 1 this year, aims to give professional education on tourism.

In this regard, KCNA met O Hyon, a department director of the State General Bureau of Tourism.

O said:

The birth of Pyongyang Tourism College was prompted by the demand for the development of tourism in the country.

Its establishment is one of a series of measures taken by the government to develop tourism.

The college is planning to introduce the study-while-working system as well as the in-service training system.

It will also have various forms of exchange with foreign tourism educational institutions.

Faculties of tourism will come into being at normal universities in provinces of the country, including Wonsan University of Education and Cha Kwang Su Sinuiju University of Education No. 1.
