Delegation of Korean Youth League in Japan Visits Mangyongdae
Pyongyang, May 5 (KCNA) -- The delegation of Korean Youth League in Japan headed by Vice-Chairman Kim Tu Sop visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung.

Members of the delegation laid bouquets before the graves of the President's grandparents Kim Po Hyon and Ri Po Ik and his parents Kim Hyong Jik and Kang Pan Sok and paid silent tribute to them.

They visited the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum where the historic data and relics showing the revolutionary activities of the President and his family members are displayed.

Being briefed on stories associated with the old home in Mangyongdae, they looked round historic relics.

At the end of the visit, Kim Tu Sop said:

Mangyongdae is the native home dear to the hearts of not only the Koreans in the homeland but compatriots in Japan.

The President, who embarked upon the road of revolution in his early years and liberated the country, saved Koreans in Japan from the fate of statelessness and put forward them as overseas citizens of the independent and sovereign state.

We will give a steady continuity to the lineage of patriotism and the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, true to the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un, who is carrying forward and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The delegation also visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, Okryu Children's Hospital, etc.
