Minju Joson Raps at Japanese Right-wing Politicians' Visits to Yasukuni
Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- Right-wing politicians of Japan visited the Yasukuni Shrine on the occasion of the shrine's spring festival.

146 lawmakers belonging to the Association of Dietmen for Visiting Yasukuni Shrine flocked to the shrine in the wake of the visits by Yoshitaka Shindo, minister of Internal Affairs, and Keiji Furuya, chairman of the National Public Safety Commission.

In this regard Minju Joson Thursday comments that nothing can justify their visits to the shrine.

The dead in the shrine were war criminals who invaded Korea and other Asian countries and committed hair-raising atrocities against their people, the commentary says, and goes on:

However, Japanese right-wing politicians are longing for the past days when Japan occupied and dominated Asia.

What they seek is to call back the departed soul of militarism to bring earlier the second "golden period" when they will become the "leader of Asia".

But they should know that they are dreaming a pipedream. Militarism has already been denied by history and thrown into dustbin of the times with severe punishment.

The Asian people and the international community will never tolerate the Japanese reactionaries' moves to launch overseas aggression again.

Asia today is not what it used to be in the past and Japan's moves to revive militarism and reinvade other countries will bring a final ruin to it.
