Chairman of C.C., Workers' Party of Bangladesh Meets WPK Delegation
Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh (WPB), had a talk with a delegation of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) led by Ri Chang Gun, vice department director of the C.C., the WPK, on April 24. The WPK delegation visited Bangladesh to participate in the 9th Congress of the WPB.

Recollecting with deep emotion the time when he was honored with the audience of President Kim Il Sung during his visit to the DPRK, Rashed Khan Menon said he would always remember that day of glory.

He went on saying:

The DPRK turned into an invincible country with the strong national power under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The DPRK has successfully settled the issue of succession of the leadership as it is having Marshal Kim Jong Un at the head of the party, state and army.

The DPRK where socialism is winning victory after victory is greatly encouraging the progressive political parties and people of the world.

The Workers' Party and people of Bangladesh are fully supporting the just cause of the WPK and the Korean people, the chairman said, expressing belief that the Korean people would achieve greater successes in their struggle to build a thriving socialist country and reunify the country under the guidance of Kim Jong Un.

Mohammad Nasim, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Awami League of Bangladesh, Dilip Barua, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist-Leninist), and Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, respectively met and had conversations with the WPK delegation.
