They included a joint seminar and book exhibition in Britain, a lecture and film show in Guinea and round-table talks in Ethiopia.

Displayed at the venues of the events were works of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and other Korean books.

A professor of the University of London said that Kim Il Sung is the father of socialist Korea and genius of revolution and construction as he brought about the fundamental turn in carving out the destiny of the country and nation under the unfurled banner of Juche and Songun and made the Korean people become the most dignified and happiest people.

The secretary general of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea praised Kim Il Sung for setting forth the outstanding idea and theories, strategy and tactics on the cause of global independence and making immortal contributions to developing the friendly and cooperative relations among countries desirous of independence.

The dean of the art faculty of the Guinean Art College said that the heroic Korean People's Army led by Marshal Kim Jong Un, another illustrious brilliant commander, is preventing a new war on the Korean peninsula and reliably guaranteeing the regional peace and security.

A message of greeting to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar held in Britain.
