She successfully performed a Korean song "Ardent Desire" as well as a Cuban song "Guantanamera", a part of Jose Marti's poem on the love for his country and nation.

After her performance, the guitarist told KCNA that she was satisfied with the festival preparations ensured on a high level. Visiting Pyongyang for the first time, she felt the city was very beautiful and clean and its citizens were very kind, she added.

What impressed her were the joyful children as well as people in the DPRK enjoying peace and freedom, she said, adding their looks convinced her that peace has settled in the country.

Yalit Gonzalez Gonzalez has had recitals in various countries and proved successful at domestic festivals. She is now the chief of the Guitar Department of Cuban National Art School and concurrently a teacher of the International Music Department of Cuban University of Arts.
