Koreans in Japan Meet to Congratulate Kim Jong Un
Tokyo, April 12 (KNS-KCNA) -- A meeting of Koreans in Japan took place at the Korean Hall of Culture in Tokyo on April 12 to congratulate supreme leader Kim Jong Un on his reelection as first chairman of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK.

Displayed in the front of the venue of the meeting were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. A floral basket was seen standing before them.

Present at the meeting were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), officials of Chongryon, compatriots and teachers and students of Korea University.

Ho Jong Man in his report said that Kim Jong Un's reelection to the top post of the DPRK is a great national event providing a guarantee for accomplishing the cause of Juche pioneered in Mt. Paektu and a great fortune of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan.

He went on:

Kim Jong Un achieved immortal exploits on behalf of the party, revolution, country and nation with his boundless loyalty to the great Generalissimos, rare wisdom, versatile leadership ability and noble virtues.

He made sure that the crucial proposals were made public out of his noble desire for opening a broad avenue of improving the north-south relations by the concerted efforts of Koreans and has led in the van the nation-wide struggle for bringing earlier the national reunification.

Happiness of Koreans in Japan and rosy future of the rising generations, to say nothing of the prosperity of motherland, depend on upholding and following him.

The reporter called upon all the participants to greet the 23rd Congress of Chongryon as a meeting of loyalty, single-minded unity and inheritance and innovation and turn out in the patriotic movement for ushering in a fresh heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan, united close around Kim Jong Un with one mind and will.

A congratulatory letter to Kim Jong Un was read out there.
