The performance began with prologue "We Dance and Sing on Day of the Sun ". Put on the stage were such colorful numbers as light music and song immortal classic masterpiece "Nostalgia", folk song solo "Mangyongdae, the best pride" and high-pitched flute and chorus "Mangyongdae is flower garden".

The performers impressively sang of the boundless reverence of schoolchildren for Kim Il Sung who brought up the new rising generation to be pillars who will advance the Korean revolution.

Dance "We Will Fully Display Patriotism" and other numbers depicted well the schoolchildren who are reliably growing up to be pillars of strong and prosperous Korea equipped with knowledge, a good moral character and good health while learning to their heart's content under the socialist educational system provided by Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and being exalted by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Among the audience were Ri Il Hwan, department director of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the C.C., the youth league, officials of the youth league and schoolchildren in the city.
