Title of Labor Hero Awarded to DPRK Composers

| Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- Composers Hwang Jin Yong, U Jong Hui and An Jong Ho were awarded the title of Labor Hero and Gold Medal (Hammer and Sickle) and Order of National Flag 1st Class on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, according to a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK announced on April 12. They wrote lots of famous music strong in ideological value and artistry and representing the true feelings of the people, making a great contribution to encouraging all the service personnel and people in their struggle to defend socialism and achieve the final victory in the building of a thriving nation. |
