Delegation of Koreans in Japan Visits Mangyongdae
Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- The delegation of Koreans in Japan headed by Ri Ki Sok, advisor to the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) Friday visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung. The delegation is staying here to celebrate the Day of the Sun (birthday of the President).

The members of the delegation laid bouquets before the graves of Kim Po Hyon and Ri Po Ik, grandparents of the President, and Kim Hyong Jik and Kang Pan Sok, parents of the President, and observed a moment's silence in memory of them.

Then they visited the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum which houses historical data and relics dealing with the revolutionary activities of the President and his family members in Mangyongdae.

At the old home of the President in Mangyongdae, they looked round the historical relics, being briefed on the stories about the historic home.

At the end of the visit, the head of the delegation said:

Visiting the old home in Mangyongdae, I miss Generalissimo Kim Il Sung very much.

He made great contributions to the development of Chongryon and the movement of Koreans in Japan.

We can never forget the great loving care he showed for the Koreans in Japan.

I will uphold the idea and leadership of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un with loyalty, bearing in mind the behests of the great Generalissimos.
