Meeting for Remembering Kim Il Sung Held in China
Beijing, April 8 (KCNA) -- A meeting for remembering President Kim Il Sung took place in China on Monday on the occasion of the Day of the Sun (his birth anniversary).

The participants laid a floral basket before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

They watched a Korean film introducing the Munsu Water Park.

Zhang Jinlu, daughter of Zhang Wei-hua who was a Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr, deeply recollected the loving care shown by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for her family.

She sincerely wished the DPRK greater prosperity under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Yuming who is son of Li Zade, an anti-Japanese revolutionary fighter in China, said that his family is deeply revering the President.

The President was the father of nation-building and founder of socialist Korea who built the country where the people became the master for the first time in the Korean history spanning thousands of years and provided the eternal foundation for eternal prosperity of the Korean nation, he noted, adding:

Kim Jong Il carried forward the cause of the President and made great successes in all fields including politics, military affairs and economy.

Kim Jong Un is wisely leading the Workers' Party of Korea, the army and the people in their struggle for accomplishing the cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Chai Eli who is granddaughter of Chai Shiying, Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, and the son of Shang Yue said that Korea today would be unthinkable without the President, adding that they would make positive efforts to give a steady continuity to the friendship between China and the DPRK.

Present at the meeting were family members of anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters in China, Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs and Chinese related to anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the DPRK ambassador to China and his embassy officials.
