Thanks to his firm independent politics, the traditions of our revolution have been firmly preserved and our country has dynamically advanced along the road of Juche pioneered in Mt. Paektu.

He formulated the Songun politics as the basic political mode under socialism and created the ever-victorious history of building a powerful nation in which he cemented the overall national power of the country in every way by dint of the powerful military muscle.

Thanks to his Songun leadership, the Korean People's Army grew up to be the invincible revolutionary Paektusan army, the national defence industry developed into an almighty arsenal of Mt. Paektu and the whole country was consolidated as an impregnable fortress.

His politics of love and trust and benevolence served as a nutrient that helped our revolutionary ranks and the whole society form the world of comrades.

The greatest feat he performed for the eternal prosperity of Songun Korea was that he perfectly solved the issue of the inheritance of the leadership.

Minju Joson says: As the DPRK elected him as chairman of the NDC, the fundamental issue was successfully solved in carrying forward and accomplishing the Juche-based cause of state-building generation after generation, the DPRK turned into the strongest political and ideological power and invincible military power and a new era of prosperity unprecedented in nation's history spanning five thousand years was ushered in on this land.
