The U.S. turned down without any explanation the crucial proposals made by the DPRK to defuse tensions and mend the inter-Korean relations as the former did as regards the latter's proposals for making the criminal blockade to arrest its development lifted.

As regards the U.S. hostile acts getting evermore serious, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK on March 14 declared at home and abroad its principled stand on the U.S. hostile policy toward it.
