Korean Book, Photo, Fine Art Exhibitions Held in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- Korean book, photo and fine art exhibitions were held in Brazil, Malaysia and Italy from Mar. 5 to 27 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Displayed in the exhibitions were photos showing exploits of the President, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu, books and photos introducing the achievements made by the Korean army and people in building a thriving socialist country and fine art works associated with resourcefulness and talents of the Korean people.

Attending the opening ceremonies of the exhibitions were figures of political parties and organizations and masses of the above-said countries including the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, Confederation of Brazilian Women, Brazilian Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK and Malaysia-DPRK Friendship Association.

Speeches were made there.

Rosanita Campos, vice-president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, said Kim Il Sung was the benevolent father of the people who had dedicated himself to the prosperity of the country and people's well-being till the last moments of his life since he embarked upon the road of revolution in his early years, and an elder statesman of the world who made great contributions to the human cause of independence.

The chairman of the Malaysia-DPRK Friendship Association praised Kim Il Sung as the sun of the Korean people and a peerlessly great man.

He noted that Kim Il Sung was deeply revered by the progressive people all over the world as he made great contributions to accomplishing the cause of global independence with his outstanding leadership ability and noble virtues.
