Zelenov, first secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

It decided to organize diverse political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary career and exploits of the President on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.
