Tax-free DPRK Praised by British Organizations

Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association made public a joint statement on Mar. 18 40 years since the tax system was abolished in the DPRK.

The statement said:

The DPRK became the first tax-free country in the world as the law "On abolishing the tax system" was promulgated at the 3rd Session of the Fifth Supreme People's Assembly on March 21, 1974.

It was an eye-opening event.

The Korean people got rid of all taxes and lead a happy life under the social benefits such as free education and medical care systems.

The rising generation of the DPRK doesn't know what tax is like.

Tax in the capitalist countries is a serious social problem.

The people's life has improved after the tax system was totally abolished in the DPRK.

This was, indeed, a miracle of history.

The DPRK turned into the genuine people's paradise thanks to the politics for loving the people pursued by President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The material and cultural life of the Korean people is steadily improving under the wise leadership of the respected HE Kim Jong Un.
