Serious Condition for Upbringing in S. Korea Deplored

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity of Parents for Genuine Upbringing in Pusan, south Korea held a press conference at the plaza of the Pusan City Office on March 25 as regards the serious condition for upbringing, according to the south Korean Internet paper Voice of People.

At the press conference speakers denounced the upbringing institutions of south Korea for burdening parents with various kinds of expenses.

The parents know well that this is an illegal act, but they are yielding to such demand for fear that their failure to cover the expenses would adversely affect their children, they deplored.

In this regard, media are laying bare the wrongdoings of the upbringing institutions, they said, adding:

The regime should take measures for the upbringing institutions. We will continue wage an action to this end.
