Kim Jong Un in a speech at the 8th Conference of Ideological Workers of the Workers' Party of Korea on Feb. 25, Juche 103 (2014) said that the whole course of the Korean revolution can be called a history of ideological campaign to give full play to the might of the truth of the revolutionary ideology of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The work indicates the tasks and ways facing the ideological work of the party at present.

Present at the symposium were officials of party, administration and working people's organizations in Pyongyang, officials of armed forces organs, those in the fields of science, education, literature and arts, media and those in the sectors of preserving revolutionary relics and training party cadres.

The symposium heard papers explaining and proving the originality, scientific accuracy and truth of the ideas and theories set forth in the work.

Speakers said that the work serves as the immortal great programme indicating the path of the ideological work of the party at present.

The whole course of the Korean revolution can be called a history of ideological campaign which could etch victory only in its flag by enlisting the mental strength of the popular masses, they said, adding:

Imbuing the party and the revolutionary ranks with one ideology is the seed and core of the struggle to establish the party's monolithic leadership system.

The ongoing struggle to defend socialism can be said to be aimed at prevailing over imperialism in all fields of social life.

To open the gunfire of an ideological campaign and fire the shells intensively, successively and at the right targets is the main way to successfully ensure the ideological work.

The speakers called for deeply studying and grasping the ideas and theories set forth in the work and discharge the mission and duty for the era and the revolution in the van of the revolutionary ideological offensive.
