Day of Sun to Be Celebrated in DR Congo

| Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- A DR Congolese preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun) was formed in Kinshasa on March 19. Otete Gaston Mboyo, deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Democratic Congo who doubles as chairman of the Democratic Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events including meeting, seminar, photo exhibition and film show in the period between March 20 and April 15. |
