S. Korean Paper Deplores Worship, Flunkeyism towards America
|Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet paper Voice of People on Thursday in an editorial deplored south Korean society obsessed with worship and flunkeyism towards the U.S.
Now south Korean public harbors an illusion that the U.S. is an "advanced country," the editorial notes, urging it to make a cool judgment of whether the U.S. is an "advanced state", indeed. What idea do the rulers of this land have of the U.S. to which they look up as "an advanced state", it queried, and went on:
One percent of the population holds 90 percent of GNP in the U.S. and 99 percent of them have the rest 10 percent of GNP.
As a matter of fact, 400 plutocrats have more properties than those of 150 million Americans.
This was the background against which anti-Wall Street demonstration was staged in September 2011 to accuse society "1:99".
This is the idea of the "advanced country" and the real picture of the country called the U.S., "founder of neo-liberalism".
Tens of millions of Americans live in poverty owing to the bi-polarization of society caused by the privatization of healthcare based on American-style neo-liberalism which had been already declared bankrupt.
However, the present regime is pushing forward its policy for privatization of healthcare, painting a wrong picture of the worst American-style healthcare system as advanced one.
Now is the time for the regime to drop its illusion about the U.S. as "advanced state".
How long will the regime play the role of a fool, keen on worship and flunkeyism to the U.S.?
