Many Works Made Public by Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il made public a lot of works in those days of leading revolution, clearly clarifying tasks for carrying forward the revolutionary traditions of anti-Japanese struggle generation after generation and ways for doing so.

The works clarify the idea that the work of adhering to the Juche line and carrying it forward is a crucial matter that affects the destiny of the revolution and that it should be permanently held fast to by the Workers' Party of Korea.

They indicate the idea of sprucing up the revolutionary battle sites and revolutionary sites as eternal treasures of the Korean revolution, centers for education in the revolutionary traditions.

They set forth principled issues arising in the work of creating literature and art pieces including the issue of adapting masterpieces created during the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle for the screen, opera, drama and novel.

The works reflect the practical issues arising in learning from the revolutionary spirit of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners.

Reflected in the works are the idea of steadily glorifying the tradition of defending the leader unto death and further displaying the might of single-hearted unity and the idea of achieving the final victory of the revolution by constantly defending and carrying forward the great traditions created in the days of the anti-Japanese struggle.

The works serve as an eternal banner and guidelines of the life and struggle of the service personnel and people as their great traction and tremendous vitality have been clearly proved in the Korean revolution.
