U.S. Should Roll Back Its Hostile Policy toward DPRK: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- The U.S. should drop its hostile policy toward the DPRK, says Rodong Sinmun Sunday in an article.

It goes on:

The hostile policy toward the DPRK persistently pursued by the U.S. for more than half a century is now reaching an extreme phase.

The U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK is the harshest one aimed at undermining the ideology of the DPRK and bringing down its social system by dint of the U.S.-style "democracy" and market economy and swallowing up all Koreans and the whole of Korea by force of arms for aggression.

The U.S. is the chieftain of provocation and aggression. It, at the same time, styles itself an apostle of peace though it is an ill-famed mastermind of war and destruction.

It is desperately working hard to bring down the Korean-style socialism which has emerged victorious at any cost, regarding it as a thorn in the flesh.

The acute situation is prevailing on the Korean peninsula in which a war may break out anytime. This is entirely attributable to the U.S. persistent hostile policy toward the DPRK to stifle it by force of arms.

The U.S. imperialists try to bring down the socialist system of the DPRK and occupy the whole of Korea. This is a pipedream.

With no nuclear weapons can the U.S. warmongers arrest the just cause of the Korean people and break their will.

Today the DPRK has a weapon more powerful than A-bombs no country can have.

It is just the single-minded unity in which the leader, the party and masses are closely rallied as one.

The U.S. would be well advised to behave itself, bearing this in mind.
