Day of Sun to Be Celebrated in Russia

| Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun) was formed by the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia on March 11. Viktor Yegorov, chairman of the friendship association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee fixed the celebration period from March 11 to April 18 and decided to hold diverse political and cultural events including lecture and seminar praising the revolutionary exploits of the President. |
