Acts of Repressing Freedom of Expression Exposed in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 12 (KCNA) -- The south Korean weekly paper Media Today on March 5 said that the broadcasting and communication committee of south Korea is repressing the freedom of expression on websites under the pretext of the "Security Law".

According to it, the committee deleted more than 6 000 things posted on websites in the past six years, forcibly demanding their correction.

A member of the committee disclosed that it is abusing its authority, demanding an unconditional correction of anything which praises the north.

The south Korean Press Trade Union said that the committee issued an official document last year urging to delete what praises the north's social system or introduces its policies.
